What began as a commitment to safer, more dependable transport has developed into a group with extensive operational capabilities, specialist teams and an established reputation for service. Our Leadership

Steve Burnell
Chief Executive Officer
Steve Burnell brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in the transport sector, having held positions with Virgin Atlantic Airways, National Express and Serco Middle East.
From 2007 to 2017, Steve contributed to the development of transport services at Serco Middle East, including student transport systems for United Arab Emirates University and work supporting Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority in developing an integrated bus and rail network.
Steve has also served as a UAE committee member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), supporting professional development within the industry. As Chief Executive Officer, he leads STS Group’s strategy, operational excellence and commitment to Safe. Timely. Smart. transport solutions.

Hardik Shah
Chief Financial Officer
Hardik Shah has over 15 years of experience spanning financial management, business strategy and transformation, with experience at Ernst & Young, Emaar, GEMS Education and STS Group.
His expertise includes financial planning, transaction advisory, change management, business development, budgeting and enterprise resource planning. His career includes involvement in strategic initiatives connected with GEMS Education in Saudi Arabia, Dubai Hills and major STS Group project bids.
At STS Group, Hardik supports financial strategy, commercial performance and responsible business growth.

Shahida Khan
Client and Product Success Director
Shahida Khan brings over 20 years of senior management experience across business development, marketing, customer experience and operational leadership, with extensive experience in the education sector.
Her career includes leading customer-focused initiatives, strengthening stakeholder relationships and supporting major projects across the GCC and beyond. She combines commercial insight with experience in organisational change, communications and service improvement.
At STS Group, Shahida leads Client and Product Success as well as Marketing and Communications across the Group’s portfolio of brands and businesses. Her remit encompasses customer experience, brand strategy, corporate communications, marketing delivery, product development and customer-focused growth initiatives.

Yazan Sannoufeh
Head of Human Resources
Yazan Sannoufeh is an experienced human resources leader and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). He began his human resources career with MAG Group and joined STS Group in 2018.
His experience spans talent management, organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, leadership development, succession planning and change management. He is also a certified job evaluator, with expertise in government relations, employment legislation and compliance.
As Head of Human Resources, Yazan leads people strategies that support employee development, organisational effectiveness and a positive workplace culture.
